Length refers to the length of the hair of the wig or extension when you receive it. Wigs and extensions may be cut to suit your personal taste, but it is best to start with a one that is closest to (or perhaps a bit longer than) the length you are looking for. The length categories listed below offer a general idea of the length of the hair products we carry. Many of our products include detailed length information on the different areas of the wig or extension. Read on for a brief description of each length we carry.
With a chin-length wig, the longest part of the wig will reach to about the chin.
A long wig will flow past the shoulders and come to somewhere between just below the shoulders and the middle of the back. These length wigs are best for styling in ponytails, buns, french twists and other upswept styles. The wig detail page will give you the exact length for a specific wig.
A short wig will stop above the chin. Short-style wigs range from very short boy-cuts to bobs and similar cuts. The wig detail page will give you the exact length for a specific wig.
A shoulder length wig will flow to just about the top of the shoulder or right to the shoulder. It is similar to the long length, but, generally, is not long enough for an upswept style.
A very long wig will flow to the lower back or even longer. Very long wigs are generally too long for an upswept style. The wig detail page will give you the exact length for a specific wig.
